P.T.I.'s Engineers use the latest technologies in CAD/CAM encompassing 2D vector based drafting and 3D parametric surface and solid modelling. The advantages of increased programming accuracy and geometric conformance to design parameters enable quicker and more efficient manufacturing.

Using integrated CAE, Inspection, Design and Manufacturing systems, P.T.I. can easily digitise and reverse engineer components where detailed drawings and specifications do not exist.

P.T.I.'s Engineers have a wealth of knowledge and use in house developed software to authenticate gear and spline designs. By employing Design For Manufacture (DFM) techniques and consultation, P.T.I. has assisted Customers in reducing cost and lead time.

Workholding, spline gauge and master gear design capabilities ensure P.T.I. remain at the forefront of this exacting field whether it be to National or International Standards such as BS, DIN, ISO or AGMA.

As well as batch production, P.T.I. undertake manufacture of one offs, Research & Development and Prototyping whether it be in the field of Motorsport, Aerospace, Automotive or Sub Contract Offload.
